1.1 School Profile

1. Enrollment

The yearly enrolment of the school was more of female pupils than male. There is no significant attributes to this number since the population of the locality has more number of female learners than males. The data shows that school-age children are interested in their studies.

2. Health and Nutritional Status

The total number of wasted for SY 2016 – 17 is 17, 8 males and 9 females. Out of the 17 wasted learners, 6 of the males and 7 of the females belong to Key Stage 1. Key Stage 2 has 2 males and 2 females wasted learners. No severely wasted learners are found in school.

3. Learner’s Materials

In the K to 12 curriculum, the number of textbooks were not sufficient for every learners based on the enrolment this year for Kindergarten to Grade 4. But for Grade 5 and 6, textbooks available for learners are in the RBEC. Learners’ materials for K to 12 has to be delivered.

The school has facilities and equipment like LCD and Laptop but not sufficient to the needs to reinforce learning among pupils. No available computers which are needed by the pupils to keep tract of the changing time.

Aside from which, the school has no library for the pupils to study and research on and even a room for industrial arts and home economics laboratory.

4. Teacher’s Professional Development

Four among the 10 teachers were able to attend the Seminar – Workshop on the Preparation of Materials for Key Stage 1. They, too, have attended the LAC Session for the Early Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program. Seven (7) teachers were able to achieve their goal to be trained in ICT.

5. Funding Sources

For school year 2016-2017, highest amount of the school funds came from MOOE, next from financial assistance from the PTA Donations through the initiative of GPTA Officers. This is followed by the funds from the School Canteen and from the LGU Assistance for the pupils.

6. School Awards & Recognition

For school year 2016-2017, SOF has garnered a lot of wins in the district and in the congressional district. This table only shows the highest award – giving body is the Division of Camarines Sur that gave School of the Future its recognition. This also shows that though School of the Future is a small school with limited number of teachers, they still manage to bring home the bacon.

National Achievement Test

The school is showing the general average of pupils in the highest grade level offered by School of the Future. This chart shows that seven (7) subject areas offered have surpassed the Planning Standard of 75%.

School-based Management Assessment Level

The school attained Level 1 on school based management assessment interpreted as Developing and a score of 17 points on Child-Friendly School survey tagging us an NOT yet a Child-Friendly School.

Stakeholder’s Participation

Stakeholders have shown remarkable participation in the programs, projects and activities of the school.

Learner – Teacher Ratio

The learner – teacher ratio in Grades 1, 5 & 6 is within the planning standard except for the kindergarten and Grades 3 & 4 due to handling of two sessions per day and the size of the classroom, respectively. Learner – teacher ratio in Grade 2 is not within thePlanning Standard.

Based on the building inventory done by the Regional Office Physical Facilities Department, the school has only four (4) classrooms which are on the Planning Standard

The school has 6 functional shared toilets by both gender. Its ratio is 61:1 which is not within the Planning Standard.

Learner - Seat Ratio

he learner – seat ratio in all grade levels is 1:1.


PROJECTS

Status Continuous Improvement Projects

The major project of the school are:

- ELLNP which will focus on the development of Vocabulary, Numeracy, and Comprehension of pupils

- SLAC which will focus on the pedagogy

- One-Story-a-Week

- GRAB @ 12:30

Other Stakeholder’s Accomplishments

The LGU supported the construction of the GulayansaPaaralan Fence in the amount of Php 39,800.00 and supported the painting of the classrooms in the amount of Php 6,800.00.

The General PTA has the following accomplishments:

¶ construction of the lavatory at the Principal’s Office in the amount of Php 10,500.00

¶ construction of the WASH areas for the primary and intermediate pupils in the amount of Php 28,000.00

¶ construction of covered hall in the amount of Php 30,000.00


1.2 Academic Support System

Academic support system in the School Of the Future are as follows :

The school support the learning during their academic contest, The teacher help each other through mentoring of young and new teacher, school’s headmaster check on the lesson plans regularly for a good process in teaching and learning.


1.3 Teaching System

In the School Of the Future, they have differences teaching system for grade 1-3 and 4-6. In the primary level ( Grade 1- 3) the teacher handles all the subject, So the teacher will teaching math, science, english, and others. But, in the intermediate level ( grade 4 – 6) the teacher handles one subject only. Example Mrs. Deyto ( Math ), Mrs. Ponte ( Science and English), Mrs. Eligoryo ( Filipino), Mrs. Bonon (MAPEH), Mrs. Jerom ( EPP ), and Mrs. Vistro ( Araling Panlipunan).


1.4 Materials and Other Learning Sources

In the School Of the Future the teachers are varied visual like videos from the internet, charts, pictures, newspaper, etc. And then the teacher also get their teaching sources from Dep Ed LRMDS ( Learning Resources Management and Deut System ) and often sites from the web. So, the students not only get the knowledge from book. They can get it from videos and pictures which really interesting and make them happy because of the colorful, fun media and sources.


1.5 Measurement and Evaluation System

Measurment and evaluation system in the School Of the Future the teacher look at the performance, based, and using rubric. Not only that, they are have assestment is done daily is called formative every week ( lummative ) and quarterly (periodical test).


1.6 Curriculum

School Of the Future using K-12 curriculum because in the phillipines they are using that curriculum. Any similar from K-12 curriculum in the Phillipines and 2013 curriculum in Indonesia because in this curiculum the teacher will be fasilitator for the students'.


1.7 Teaching Plan

They are using K-12 Currriculum for the Curriculum and that’s why i should know how to teach used K-12 Curriculum. I make a lesson plan and then i consultation to my cooperating teacher, after that i should improve my lesson plan if any wrong. And finally, i can teach the students’ like i wrote in my lesson plan.
